YEAR-ROUND ADVENTURES
Pond Hill Farm offers a variety of activities and experiences for visitors to enjoy in all four seasons. Here’s what to expect throughout the year:
-
In the summer, we invite you to explore our sprawling vineyards, fields of produce, greenhouses, and trails. Adults will enjoy a wine, beer or cider tasting and the kiddos will love the playground, gnome house hunt and feeding the animals and the fish in our Trout Pond! We also have corn hole and human foosball that are fun for all ages. Stop in our cafe after your adventures to refuel with a farm to table lunch of homemade pizza, farm fresh salads and more! We offer live music in our outdoor tent throughout the summer on select days. Check out our calendar of events to see who is playing when!
-
Fall on the farm is filled with pumpkins, grape harvests and family fun! The Tunnel of Trees is known for its beauty especially in the fall. The trees transform into a colorful rainbow of oranges, reds and yellows. The views from the top our our vineyard out towards Lake Michigan and the array of colors is a must see…It’s truly spectacular! Visit us on the weekends in late September and October for our Fall Harvest Weekends for our giant pumpkin patch, hayrides, hot cider and donuts, apple cannons, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin smashing, live music and more!
-
During the winter, our farm transforms into a winter wonderland. Visitors can enjoy our amazing free sled hill. We have tubes available for use. Cross-country ski, fat tire bike or snowshoe through our groomed trails and enjoy the picturesque snow-covered landscape, followed by a warm cup of hot cocoa or mulled wine in our cozy cafe. Equipment is available for rental nearby at The Outfitters of Harbor Springs. During the holidays we offer Christmas trees, wreaths & gift boxes of our homemade canned goods.
-
Springtime on the farm is a time for new growth. We have five acres of vineyards and 20 acres of vegetables we are busy planting and pruning. We grow a wide variety of produce which we use in our cafe, canning and to sell in our market. We also grow flower baskets and thousands of pumpkins and squash including our 1000 lb GIANT pumpkins. We are also busy this time of year brewing our beer onsite to stock up for the busy season!
